Italux Montiela LED Pendant Light, 6 Shades, Black and Gold, 63 cm PND-34374-6-BK

Name: Italux Montiela LED Pendant Light, 6 Shades, Black and Gold, 63 cm PND-34374-6-BK
Brand: Italux

Montiela is a pendant light with a matt black ring 63 cm across, from which six satin white dome shades hang. Each shade sits in a gold-coloured holder, and the ring hangs from three thin steel wires, separate from the power cable, below a round black ceiling canopy with gold details. Size and where to hang it The ring with its shades is 18 cm tall, and the overall height of the light including the suspension is 120 cm, which is the figure to set against your ceiling height to see how much room will be left underneath. The 63 cm diameter is the number to compare with the width of your table: over a table, the lower edge of the shades is usually placed 70–80 cm above the top. Italux intends the Montiela for the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and study, anywhere the light has to cover the whole room or a table in the middle of it. How much light it gives The light comes from built-in LEDs drawing 30 W in total and giving 1544 lm, which is enough to serve as the main light in a room rather than mood lighting only. At 3000 K it is warm white, close to the light of a traditional bulb. There are no bulbs to buy or change: the LED module is integrated into the fitting and cannot be swapped for another. The light is not dimmable, so its brightness is fixed and it will not respond to a dimmer switch. The satin shades diffuse the LEDs, so no individual bright points are visible. Build The frame is made of steel and aluminium and the shades of glass and acrylic; the matt black is set off by gold-coloured parts at the shades and on the canopy. The maker classes the style as classic, as the ring of dome shades takes the traditional chandelier and simplifies it. Italux gives a 5-year warranty on this light.Show more
