Aldex Aldo pendant light 47 cm, gloss white and dusty blue, 1152G2_16_J

Name: Aldex Aldo pendant light 47 cm, gloss white and dusty blue, 1152G2_16_J
Brand: Aldex

Aldex Aldo 1152G2_16_J places a compact dusty-blue shade above a broad gloss-white shade. A wooden disc separates the two metal forms, with a light-coloured cable extending to the ceiling canopy. The layered appearance does not mean multiple light sources: this pendant has one lamp holder. Two shade diametersThe lower shade measures 47 cm across and has a gently curved profile with an open underside. The smaller upper shade has a diameter of 23 cm, giving the assembly a clear contrast in proportions. Gloss white, muted blue and the wooden detail should all be considered when matching the light to surrounding finishes. This is a two-colour version rather than an entirely white or blue pendant. Both the width and depth are 47 cm. The manufacturer states an overall height of 230 cm, and the technical drawing also shows a ceiling canopy 10 cm in diameter. Compare these measurements with the ceiling height and the surface below the proposed installation point. The stated overall height does not establish an adjustment range or a guaranteed clearance above a table. One E27 LED bulbThe fitting takes one E27 LED bulb rated at no more than 15 W. The two shades therefore do not provide two separately controlled light points. Choose brightness and colour temperature from the specifications of a compatible bulb, rather than expecting the shade colours to determine the light. The open bottom leaves the light source visible when viewed from below.Planning its positionThe broad lower shade supports placement over a dining table, a kitchen island or a defined living-room area. Allow for the full shade diameter and sufficient space beneath the hanging assembly. Its geometric metal forms suit modern and modernist interiors, while the pale cable and wooden accent also relate to Scandinavian furnishings. The blue upper element remains a distinct part of the composition even against a light background.Show more
