Name: Lutec KAYAH 6392202457 outdoor ceiling light LED 16.5 W grey 30.5 cm
Brand: Lutec

Lutec KAYAH 6392202457 is a round outdoor ceiling light that the manufacturer also permits to be fitted on a wall. A grey aluminium ring surrounds an opal polycarbonate diffuser. The shallow body has no arms or suspension, making its form suitable for modern, modernist and minimalist schemes where the fitting should sit close to its mounting surface.A 30.5 cm diameter with a 4 cm projectionCompare both measurements with the available space on your ceiling or wall. There is no hanging shade, which matters when you want to limit how far a light extends into the space. Its shallow profile does not remove the need for enough mounting area to accommodate the full circular body. The manufacturer identifies corridors with higher ceilings as an application. You can also consider this type of fitting when planning a terrace, covered entrance, balcony or gazebo. The chosen position must suit the mounting method and actual exposure conditions, rather than simply matching a setting shown in a lifestyle photograph.Compare fixture output, not module outputThe integrated LED module consumes 16.5 W and has a warm white colour temperature of 3000 K. The complete fixture delivers 1250 lm. The separate figure of 1850 lm refers to the module before the housing and diffuser are taken into account, so use 1250 lm when comparing complete lights. Whether one fitting provides enough illumination depends on the area, ceiling height and arrangement of lighting points.KAYAH is not dimmable. No separate bulb purchase is required, but the manufacturer specifies that only a professional may replace the LED light source. Energy class E applies to the contained light source, not to a general promise of savings against any other fixture.Protection and electrical connectionIP54 provides limited protection against dust ingress and protection against splashing water; it does not cover immersion or powerful water jets. The supply is 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz. This is a Class I product and must be connected to protective earth. Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and the requirements of the electrical installation.Show more
