ORION 7305 is a pendant lamp with a flat conical shade 25 cm across, closed underneath by a white acrylic diffuser. The cone carries a warm light-brown finish that Mantra calls Cuero; the canopy and the cable are black. The design is by Hugo Tejada. How much light it gives, and of what colour The built-in LED module draws 8 W and delivers 590 lm at 3000 K, a warm white with a slightly yellow cast. That is less than the old 60 W bulb, which corresponds to about 800 lm, so the fitting lights a defined zone — an island worktop, part of a table — rather than a whole room. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 is enough for a dining area or a seating corner. The lamp is not dimmable, and the manufacturer states 30,000 hours of module life and the same number of switching cycles. The light source is included and, according to Mantra, replaceable, so no bulb has to be bought. How it hangs and how much room it needs The shade is 25 cm across and just under 6 cm high, so it is flat and blocks little of the view — several can hang side by side over a kitchen island. The canopy measures 13.5 cm across and 2.5 cm high. The cable is 1.8 m long and the suspension height reaches 200 cm, set during installation. Over a worktop the lower edge of a shade is usually placed 70–80 cm above the surface. The fitting weighs 0.98 kg and is suitable for stretch ceilings. It is protection class I, so it needs an installation with an earth conductor, and IP20 assigns it to dry interiors. Build and the other ORION versions The build combines aluminium, iron and acrylic: the metal cone covers the module and the acrylic disc closes it from below and spreads the light.
