The ALU LUMINES Strada M3 end cap is the aluminium closure for the STRADA M3 mounting profile, in a silver anodised finish. It is the solid variant with no cable hole: the plate is unpierced and carries four screw seats around its edges. Which profile it belongs to The cap is tied to one profile. The manufacturer runs separate article numbers for the closures of STRADA, STRADA M1, STRADA M3 and STRADA M3-M1, so a cap from the neighbouring variant will not close this profile. What decides the choice is the full profile designation, not the family name alone. STRADA M3 is a mounting profile: it beds the STRADA LED profile into the substrate and takes the cables and their connecting parts inside its body. The cap closes its end face, the point where the cable channel reaches the edge of the build-up. The no-hole variant and what follows from it This cap has no opening for the supply cable. The profile end closed with it is therefore a blind end, and the feed has to come in at the other end of the run or from inside the build-up. The matching with-hole article for the same profile is number 12-1285-10, and one run of profile is normally closed with two caps, one at each end. Fitting The cap screws onto the end face of the profile with four screws. The manufacturer does not split the STRADA closures into a left and a right version: each variant has one article number with no side given, so the same part closes both the start and the end of a run.
