Lucide DUDLEY Outdoor Wall Lamp Gold Aluminium IP65 E27 11891/20/02

Name: Lucide DUDLEY Outdoor Wall Lamp Gold Aluminium IP65 E27 11891/20/02
Brand: Lucide

Lucide DUDLEY 11891/20/02 is an oval outdoor wall light with clear ribbed glass and a cage-like metal frame. Its aluminium housing has a brushed finish in matt gold / brass. Rounded ends, crossbars and exposed fastenings give it a retro appearance consistent with the manufacturer's cottage-style classification.Check the wall space in three dimensionsThe fitting measures 19.7 cm high and 13.6 cm wide when viewed from the front, with an 11 cm projection from the wall. Compare all three measurements with the space beside a doorway, along a facade or at a terrace entrance. It is not a 10 cm-high fitting: the upright oval needs a taller area of wall.Light spreads around the glass enclosure rather than through an adjustable spotlight beam. The ribbing and outer bars remain visible when the lamp is illuminated. This makes DUDLEY a choice for lighting beside a building, rather than a directional spotlight for aiming precisely at a particular object.Choose the bulb and controls separatelyA single E27 socket accepts a light source rated up to 40 W. No bulb is supplied. The manufacturer allows a replaceable LED bulb, leaving the colour and amount of light dependent on the source you select. The warm appearance shown in the photographs does not indicate an integrated LED module or a fixed colour temperature.Dimming requires a dimmable bulb and a compatible external dimmer, which is not included. The fitting is operated through a light switch and has no motion sensor. This distinction matters if you are looking for a light that automatically switches on when someone approaches the entrance.Outdoor installation and electrical connectionThe manufacturer specifies outdoor use and an IP65 rating for this variant. It can be planned beside an entrance, along a facade or by a terrace. A 230 V mains connection and class I construction require proper wiring, including a protective earth connection. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Installation materials are included; disconnect the power before installation or maintenance work.Show more
