The UNICA WHITE is a surface-mounted ceiling lamp for three E27 bulbs. A plain white metal bar 60 cm long screws to the ceiling, and three short rigid stems come out of it, each ending in a holder: a cylinder with a wider collar. Below the collar the bulb is left completely exposed. How much room it takes under the ceiling The bar measures 60 cm long and 12 cm wide, and the whole fitting comes 25 cm below the ceiling — the height of the bulb itself is added on top of that. That drop is worth comparing against your ceiling height and against whatever is to stand beneath the lamp. Mounting is on the surface, so nothing goes inside the ceiling and no depth above the board is needed — the bar screws straight on and covers the installation box. Gross weight is 2 kg. Three light points spread over 60 cm cover a wider strip than a single fitting, which is why the lamp works over a long worktop or in a narrow room. Which bulbs you have to buy The fitting takes three sources with an E27 thread, and the manufacturer states a maximum of 60 W per holder. No bulbs are supplied, so colour and brightness are yours to choose: a living room usually takes 2700–3000 K, that is warm light, and three sources of about 800 lm each add up to what an old 180 W incandescent gave. Because nothing screens the bulb, its shape is part of how the lamp looks — decorative globes such as G95 or ST64 are seen whole, while an ordinary frosted bulb disappears into the white of the holder. The fitting itself carries no electronics, so dimming depends on a bulb described as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit. The single white finish lets the fitting recede against a pale ceiling so that mainly the bulbs are seen.
