Asker Big 1300BL up-down outdoor wall light black LED 8.3 W 3000 K Norlys

Name: Asker Big 1300BL up-down outdoor wall light black LED 8.3 W 3000 K Norlys
Brand: NORLYS

Asker Big 1300BL is an outdoor wall light shaped as a rectangular block of cast aluminium, powder-coated black (RAL 9005). It shines up and down at the same time through two clear, textured polycarbonate diffusers stabilised against UV. Size and installation The fitting is 30.2 cm wide and 12.5 cm high and projects 12.1 cm from the wall. It weighs 2.62 kg. It can be fixed through an intermediate plate with two 5 × 10 mm adjustment slots at 45 mm spacing, or directly through two ø5 mm holes at 68 mm spacing — a figure worth comparing with any holes already in the facade. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on (up to 3 × 1.5 mm²), with a cable diameter of 7–10.5 mm, so several lights on one wall run from a single circuit; the maker allows up to 157 fittings on a B 10 A breaker. The luminaire is protection class I and must be connected to a protective earth conductor. What light it gives Two integrated Philips Fortimo LED modules draw 8.3 W in total, and the luminaire delivers 547 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. The light leaves in two beams, upward and downward, so it draws two bright bands on the wall rather than lighting the area in front of it. A CRI of 80 shows plaster, wood or brick without obvious colour distortion. The light can be dimmed with a trailing-edge (TE) phase dimmer; a leading-edge (LE) dimmer is not specified. The maker rates the LED modules at L80B20 above 72,000 h and the driver at 50,000 h. Where it fits Norlys intends Asker Big for lighting wall surfaces and facades, and its applications include gardens and the grounds of hotels and restaurants. IP65 protects it against dust and water jets, and IK08 against accidental knocks. The smooth, sharp-edged body without ornament is a modernist form that sits well on plain architecture.Show more
