The GFA1030C is a recessed downlight with a round 10 cm trim in satin white. The LED module sits deep behind a clear lens, and a finned aluminium heatsink runs up the back of the body. How much room the ceiling has to give The cut-out is 9 cm across, and body plus trim stand 7 cm tall — that is the clear space needed above the ceiling board, plus room for the supply cable. The trim you see after installation measures 10 cm, so it covers the edge of the hole. Two spring clips hold the fitting: fold them up, push the body into the opening, let go. The driver is supplied and is fitted above the ceiling. The fitting is class II, meaning double-insulated, so no earth conductor is needed at the connection.
