Moss DC6974BL Black Outdoor Floodlight by NORLYS

Name: Moss DC6974BL Black Outdoor Floodlight by NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

Moss DC6974BL is a black NORLYS outdoor spotlight with a round 8 cm head mounted on a swivel joint above a flat base. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium in black (RAL 9005), and the front of the head is closed with clear safety glass. It runs on 24 V DC and emits a narrow, symmetrical 15° beam.Size and mountingThe fitting is 13.2 cm long with an 8 cm head diameter and a depth of 7.25 cm, and it weighs 0.4 kg. The manufacturer intends it for wall or ceiling mounting; the base is screwed on through two 5 × 10 mm slotted holes spaced 40 mm apart. The beam direction can also be adjusted in the vertical plane, so the head can be aimed up a wall, downwards or at a chosen feature in the garden. Clamps 6434, 6435 and 6436, mounting adapter 6729 and junction box 145 are sold separately. What light it givesThe built-in Cree LED module is rated at 6.8 W, and the fitting delivers 748 lm from a source of 880 lm. 2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional bulb.A 15° angle means light concentrated in a narrow cone. According to the manufacturer's photometric data, the pool of light is about 0.73 m across at 3 m and about 0.36 m at 1.5 m. A spotlight like this picks out a single feature, such as a tree trunk, a column, a sculpture or a section of wall.24 V supply and controlThe fitting is not connected directly to the 230 V mains. It needs an external voltage-stabilised 24 V DC power supply, and the manufacturer leaves the choice of supply and the installation to a suitably qualified person. The LED module is suitable for dimming, with control handled externally according to the installation design. Wires are joined with a 3M Scotchlok 316IR connector for two or three conductors of 0.5–1.5 mm² without stripping the insulation. The manufacturer states an L90 lifetime of over 135,500 hours, and the LED module is replaced only by the professional NORLYS service.Where it fitsIP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the spotlight can work outdoors without a roof over it, while IK06 describes the housing's impact resistance. The manufacturer designed it for lighting gardens, private grounds and architectural details.Mostra di più
