HELSE+ is a surface-mounted LED profile in black anodised aluminium, with a rectangular 16 × 15.7 mm section and a length of 1 m. The channel inside is 14.2 mm wide and open at the top — that is where the LED strip sits and where the cover clips in. Which strip fits The deciding figure is the 14.2 mm channel width. The strip has to be narrower, so measure yours before ordering — common 8 and 10 mm strips leave room to spare, while strips in an IP65 silicone sleeve are often 1–2 mm wider than their IP20 equivalent. The aluminium also works as a heat sink: a strip stuck straight onto a furniture board runs hot and loses output sooner, the same strip inside the profile passes its heat into the metal. Light leaves perpendicular to the mounting surface, and the manufacturer rates the glare level as basic — there is no separate anti-glare optic, so at eye level the individual diodes stay visible through a transparent cover. Mounting and the length of one run There are two ways to fix it: double-sided tape, or a metal clip screwed to the substrate (clip section 18 × 17.2 mm, catalogue number 13-0520-02). The system has no connector — a longer line is built from separate sections and the joint stays visible. The driver goes outside the profile, so it needs a place of its own in the cabinet, in the suspended ceiling or behind the furniture front. What is in the box and what to buy with it The box holds the 1 m profile alone. The S14+ cover with its 14.1 × 4.3 mm section — PVC or PMMA, transparent, frosted or milky — the ABS end caps with a marked cable opening (black 12-2062-01, white 12-2061-01, grey 12-2064-01) and the metal clips each carry their own catalogue number. Neither the LED strip nor the driver is included. A milky cover diffuses most and turns the row of diodes into one continuous line, a transparent one passes the most light and leaves the dots visible — which of them to choose depends on whether the profile is seen close up or hidden under a furniture edge.Mostra di più
