LED Labs PROFI 16-2326-03 is a five-metre roll of single-colour LED strip producing cool white light at 6500 K. This IP65HS version uses a heat-shrink sleeve rather than a conventional silicone coating. It is a component for a 12 V DC lighting installation, not a finished lamp that plugs directly into a mains socket.Choosing the white tone and light outputThe 6500 K colour temperature gives a distinctly cool white, so compare it with the lighting already used nearby before choosing this version. A colour rendering index of at least CRI 90 is relevant when you need to distinguish the colours of illuminated objects. This is not an RGB strip, and its white colour temperature cannot be changed.The manufacturer specifies 864 lm per metre. There are 120 SMD 2835 LEDs per metre and 600 on the full roll. Whether individual light points remain visible also depends on the profile and diffuser; LED density alone cannot guarantee a continuous-looking line in every installation. The manufacturer recommends a profile with a suitable cover where reducing visible points is the aim.Plan the cut length and power supplyThe PCB is 10 mm wide, with cutting sections of 25 mm. Compare these measurements with the available space when planning lighting for shelves, cabinets or a run of fitted furniture. Check the internal width of the chosen profile and plan the required strip length around its designated cutting intervals.A 12 V DC power supply is required. Consumption of 9.6 W per metre means 48 W for the complete five-metre roll. Size the supply for the length actually installed, allowing a power reserve. Dimming is supported only with suitable dimmers; this does not establish compatibility with any arbitrary mains dimmer.Heat-shrink protection in the finished installationThe IP65HS sleeve increases resistance to moisture and splashing. The strip can therefore be considered for kitchen, wardrobe or suitably designed bathroom lighting, but connections, cut ends and the power supply need protection appropriate to the complete installation. IP65 does not mean the strip is intended for immersion.The stated operating range is -20°C to +45°C, with a 36-month manufacturer warranty for this version.
