Magnetic Track 48V GBIN47 3 m Black Gea Luce
GBIN47 is a three-metre length of Gea Luce magnetic track in aluminium, finished in satin black. The profile is 19 mm wide and 18 mm high, and an open channel carrying the conductors runs along its underside, which is where the fittings clip in magnetically. Where and how it mounts The track is surface-mounted — the manufacturer specifies ceiling or wall, with no recessing into the board. At 18 mm high it stands off the surface by less than the thickness of an ordinary plasterboard sheet, so the black line across the ceiling stays flat and throws little shadow. The length is 3 m and it weighs 1 kg, so one person can lift it, though over that span it needs fixing points spread along the whole run. The system is modular: further lengths butt onto this one, and the joint accessories are not included — they are bought separately. What else the run needs The box holds the track alone, with no fittings and no driver. The installation runs at 48 V DC, so it needs a 48 V supply sized for the combined load of the fittings that will hang on the run. The fittings come from Gea Luce's 48 V magnetic modules, which engage directly with the channel; the manufacturer names the GBIN40–GBIN47 range as the tracks those modules work in. The layout can be changed later without tools — a module lifts off and clips back on somewhere else. Limits worth knowing before you buy The manufacturer states plainly that this system allows neither dimming nor double switching. If the light has to be adjustable, or split into two independently switched groups, that calls for a different system — it cannot be added afterwards. The track is protection class III, so it works on safety extra-low voltage downstream of the driver, and it is rated IP20, which confines it to dry interiors.Mostra di più
