The Rena 1772BL is an in-ground luminaire with a round black face (RAL 9005) 13 cm across. Four ribs divide the cover plate and the light leaves on four sides, shielded from above. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium and the diffuser satin, UV-stabilised polycarbonate. How much light it gives and where it goes The LED module produces 880 lm, but only 34 lm leave the luminaire through the shielded four-sided outlet. The manufacturer describes it as an orientation light: the beam stays low on the surface around the fitting and picks out the edge of a step, a driveway or a path instead of washing a facade or a tree. 3000 K is warm white — slightly yellow light, calmer than neutral 4000 K and closer to a classic incandescent bulb. Ra 80 is enough where the job is guiding the eye rather than showing colours accurately. The luminaire is phase dimmable on both trailing-edge and leading-edge dimmers; the dimmer itself is bought separately. Where it is installed and what you have to buy with it 13 cm across and 18.2 cm deep — that is how much room has to be free under the surface. The mounting box is set into the ground according to the instructions; neither the box nor the remaining accessories are included, and both are bought separately. A 3 m H05BQ-F 3G1 cable leaves the luminaire and is terminated in a suitably chosen installation box. 230 V, protection class I — the circuit needs an earth conductor. The LED module is integrated: it is not swapped like a bulb, and the manufacturer's service carries out a replacement. The stated L70 life is over 59 000 h. Load and weather The luminaire takes up to 1000 kg and the manufacturer allows vehicles on pneumatic tyres to drive over it. It must not be set into traffic lanes, where braking and steering put horizontal forces on it. IP68 allows permanent immersion — water stands around a buried housing after every downpour and every thaw, and a lower rating would not survive it. The cover plate is rated IK09, for the impacts a pavement or a driveway produces. The operating range of -20 to +45 °C covers a Central European winter. The gasket is silicone and the gland nickel-plated brass; the luminaire weighs 0.94 kg.Mostra di più
