Rendl EQUA R12746 chrome recessed downlight GU10 IP54

Name: Rendl EQUA R12746 chrome recessed downlight GU10 IP54
Brand: Rendl light studio

Rendl EQUA R12746 is a round recessed downlight with a chrome finish and a single GU10 socket. Its smooth, reflective ring surrounds a central light opening, leaving a compact circular detail visible from the room. This version is intended only for plasterboard ceilings, so the space above the ceiling matters as much as the appearance below it.Check the opening and the concealed spaceThe fitting has an outside diameter of 8.3 cm and requires a 7.5 cm mounting hole. These measurements serve different purposes: one describes the visible outline, while the other determines the cutout in the board. Rendl specifies a height of 8.3 cm and a recess depth of 10 cm. Compare that depth with the actual space above the proposed lighting point before making the opening. The shallow appearance of the trim does not show the full space required behind it.Choose the light through the GU10 bulbEQUA operates on 230 V AC and accepts a replaceable GU10 bulb rated at no more than 35 W. This is the maximum bulb wattage, not the consumption of an integrated LED module. The bulb is selected separately. Its lumen output, colour temperature and beam angle determine the resulting light; changing the bulb can change those characteristics without replacing the fitting.Dimming is possible with a suitable light source and compatible control. The installation diagram shows a direct connection to the 230 V supply without an additional transformer. Installation must be carried out by a qualified installer. This is a Class I fitting and requires a protective earth connection.Bathroom use and the chrome detailRendl identifies EQUA as a bathroom downlight. Its manual distinguishes IP54 on the room-facing side from IP20 above the ceiling, rather than giving every part the same protection against water. Placement must respect that distinction. The plain circular outline and mirror-like finish suit modern, minimalist interiors, including hallways, kitchens and living rooms with a suitable plasterboard ceiling.Mostra di più
