LED Labs PROFI, part of the 3Y range, is a COB LED strip producing a continuous line of neutral-white light at 4000 K. Article 16-2366-03 is supplied as a 5 m roll with IP65HS protection and a 10 mm-wide PCB. It is a single-colour light source, not a CCT strip with adjustable white colour temperature.A continuous line with defined colour renderingCOB construction reduces the appearance of separate LED points. This matters when designing a light line in a profile, particularly where the appearance of the illuminated strip is part of the specification. The neutral-white version is distinct from the 2700 K warm-white and 6500 K cool-white options in the same family.The rated output of 900 lm per metre provides a basis for comparing strips over the same length; it is not the output rating of the complete roll. A Ra rating of at least 90 supports colour rendering of illuminated objects and surfaces. These properties are useful for supplementary lighting at kitchen worktops or in dressing areas. The light reaching a particular surface also depends on the strip's position and the finished fitting.Matching the length, profile and power supplyCutting sections of 45 mm allow the strip to be shortened at its marked positions. Compare the profile's available strip space with the 10 mm PCB width before selecting it. The manufacturer specifies a 3 oz copper backing and double-sided Blue Tape mounting adhesive.The strip requires a 24 V DC power supply. At 10 W per metre, the complete 5 m roll represents a 50 W load. The manufacturer's recommended 10% allowance brings the required supply capacity for that length to at least 55 W. Dimming is possible only with a suitable dimmer; this single-colour strip does not require CCT colour-temperature control.Protection within the complete installationThe HS version uses a heat-shrink sleeve rather than a thick silicone coating. IP65 applies to the protected strip, not automatically to every connection and power-supply component. Bathroom or outdoor installations therefore need protection considered across the entire assembly. The linear format also suits supplementary lighting in living spaces and offices, but does not determine the decorative style of the completed fitting.
