OBERA Luces Exclusivas Pendant Lamp LE41711
OBERA is a pendant lamp built from two 55 cm rings set one above the other and offset so that together they form an open spiral. The body is aluminium finished in matt gold, and a strip of textured clear acrylic is recessed into the outer edge of each ring. The fitting hangs on three steel cables from a round ceiling rose. How big it is and how low it hangs The rings measure 55 cm across, so the lamp occupies a circle of that size above a table — compare it with your own tabletop, which the fitting should not overhang. The stated height of 120 cm is the maximum drop: ceiling to the lower edge of the bottom ring with the cables at full length. The cables are shortened during installation. Above a 75 cm dining table the lower edge is usually set 70–80 cm above the top, which at an ordinary room height means a shorter drop than the maximum — the spare cable is there for higher ceilings. How much light it gives, and of what colour The light source is a built-in LED module of 25 W producing 1900 lm. That is more than twice what an old 60 W bulb gave, so OBERA works as the main light of a room rather than only as accent lighting. The colour temperature is 3000 K — warm white with a slightly yellow cast, close to the light of an incandescent bulb. Light leaves through the acrylic strip running the full length of both rings rather than from a single point, so it spreads around the whole circumference. The module is integrated: you buy no bulb for it and cannot replace it, so the lamp lights up as soon as it is wired in, and at the end of the diodes' life the whole fitting is replaced. Construction and where to hang it Two materials make up the structure: aluminium for the rings and the ceiling rose, acrylic for the light band. Matt gold does not mirror light as sharply as polished metal, so what stays visible on the surface of the rings is mainly the shape. The fitting is intended for indoor use and runs on a 230 V supply. A 55 cm diameter and 1900 lm are the figures of a lamp for above a dining table or in the middle of a living room.Mostra di più
