MAYA pendant lamp P091PL-L18G3K Maytoni

Name: MAYA pendant lamp P091PL-L18G3K Maytoni
Brand: Maytoni

Maya is a pendant whose form is an inverted crescent of textured colourless glass, 32 cm wide and 24.5 cm tall. The glass is thin, about 4 cm, and a gold strip carrying the LED module runs along its inner edge. It hangs on two fine cables that meet at a single point below a slim gold canopy. How it hangs and how much room it needs The cable is 150 cm long and the manufacturer gives a maximum drop of 186.5 cm from the ceiling to the lower edge of the glass. Compare that with your own ceiling height: it is a drop meant for tall rooms or a stairwell, and over a table the cable is normally shortened. The canopy is a gold cylinder 6 cm across and 12 cm tall, so it covers a standard junction box without forming a wide plate on the ceiling. The lamp weighs 1.13 kg. How much light it gives The LED module draws 10 W and gives 350 lm at 3000 K, warm and slightly yellow. For comparison, an old 60 W incandescent gave around 800 lm, so Maya is a decorative accent fitting rather than a room's general light. The beam angle is 120 degrees and the colour rendering index is Ra 85. The gap between power drawn and light delivered comes from the textured glass, which scatters part of the light inside itself. Hence the energy efficiency class G the manufacturer declares, confirmed by this article's own energy label: 10 kWh per 1000 hours of use. The module is rated for 50,000 hours and is built in permanently, so there is no bulb to change. The fitting is not dimmable. Supply and installation This is a Class I fitting and has to be connected to an earth conductor. Supply voltage is 220-240 V at 50 Hz. The protection rating allows dry indoor rooms only. Build and interior The metal parts are aluminium in a gold finish, and the shade is glass with a fine triangular texture. The Maya collection is finished in gold throughout, and the manufacturer traces the inverted crescent shape to the ornaments of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica. The fitting is meant for the living room, bedroom and dining room, and for hotel and restaurant interiors. The narrow canopy and thin cables let several pieces at different heights read as one composition rather than a row of separate lamps.Mostra di più
