Lucide MAREN 77978/13/02 ceiling spotlight, 3×E14, matt gold/black, Ø37 cm

Name: Lucide MAREN 77978/13/02 ceiling spotlight, 3×E14, matt gold/black, Ø37 cm
Brand: Lucide

Lucide MAREN 77978/13/02 is a three-head ceiling spotlight on a circular mounting plate. Rounded metal-mesh shades have a matt gold finish, combined with black lampholders and a black ceiling plate. The openwork shades leave the bulbs visible, so the appearance of the light sources remains part of the design.Position each head separatelyEach head can be rotated and tilted independently. The manufacturer describes the adjustment as rotatable and tiltable through 360°; this is not height adjustment for the complete fitting. You can change the position of individual light points without moving the ceiling plate. MAREN is therefore different from a single fixed shade facing straight down. The metal mesh does not enclose the bulb behind an opaque cover. When selecting light sources, consider their visible shape as well as brightness. The bulbs shown in the photographs illustrate an installation and are not included with the fitting.E14 bulbs and dimming requirementsThe three E14 sockets require separately selected bulbs. Current documentation specifies 3×13 W with a 220–240 V supply. Actual light output and colour depend on the chosen bulbs rather than the gold finish of the shades. This is not a fitting with a fixed integrated LED module.MAREN can be connected to a dimmer, which is not supplied. Dimming requires dimmable bulbs and a suitable compatible controller. Replacing an ordinary bulb with an LED bulb alone does not ensure that brightness adjustment will work.Allow for the full diameterThe complete fitting measures 37 cm in diameter and 14.5 cm high; the ceiling plate is 22 cm across. Compare the full spread with the mounting location rather than using the plate size alone. The instructions require installation by a qualified electrician and an earth connection for this Class I fitting. The mesh shades, exposed bulbs and gold-and-black combination support its vintage character. This ceiling format can be planned for a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway, with bulbs selected for the room's purpose. The manufacturer specifies indoor use.Mostra di più
