Ashless hard filter papers (on average 0.002% ash), particularly recommended for vacuum and pressure filtration and for the filtration of acid and alkaline solutions. Made from highly refined cotton linters and pulp. Acid washed and neutralized with water, ideal for the determination of metal ions. The very high wet strength allows precipitates to be removed or washed off easily and without fibers. High resistance to aggressive chemical components such as sulfuric and nitric acid (up to 40 % at 50° Celsius) and alkalis (up to 10% at 20° Celsius).
