Gea Luce GPL361 is a round outdoor ceiling luminaire: a white 25 cm disc that stands only 6.3 cm off the soffit. The integrated 24 W LED throws a direct 120° beam downward. IP65 means the fitting is intended for an open terrace, balcony or entrance ceiling, not only under a fully enclosed canopy. Size and fixing The body is 25 cm in diameter, the mounting base 15 cm, overall height 6.3 cm and the luminaire ring itself 3.3 cm. That profile clears a low soffit, a carport or a balcony slab where a pendant would hit a head or a door leaf. Net weight 1.09 kg, gross 1.21 kg. The manufacturer lists it as an outdoor ceiling lamp. Supply is 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, class I — an earth conductor is required. The source is built in: you do not buy a separate lamp and you do not change a cap in a holder. How much light, and of what kind 2200–2300 lm at 24 W lights a terrace, gazebo or entrance soffit evenly, without a spotlight’s tight pool. Colour temperature sits in the 3000–4000 K band, warm to neutral white; CRI is above 80. The luminaire is not dimmable — on or off only. The sheet states energy class F and a 50 000 h source life. Where IP65 matters IP65 is dust-tight and resistant to water jets, so rain on an open ceiling does not rule this fitting out. It is still a ceiling luminaire, not a façade wall light, a street lantern or a ground spike. Terrace, balcony, gazebo and the ceiling above an entrance door are the natural places; a bathroom is not implied by the datasheet. Form The matt white disc with a flat diffuser and a shallow collar is a spare, contemporary technical shape.
