Gea Luce GES2142 brown recessed LED step light 3 W CCT IP54

Name: Gea Luce GES2142 brown recessed LED step light 3 W CCT IP54
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GES2142 is a recessed step light with a brown faceplate and a narrow horizontal light slot. Its polycarbonate construction houses an integrated LED module. The plain rectangular front has a modern, minimalist appearance, making it a lighting marker rather than a large fitting projecting into the space beside the steps.Allow for the separate installation boxThis fitting requires a type 503 recessed box, which is not included. The faceplate measures 107 mm wide and 67 mm high. The manufacturer drawing also shows a 37 mm depth for the fitting section; the illustrated box measures 107.5 × 74.5 × 51.5 mm. These dimensions refer to different parts. When preparing the wall recess, check the box requirements rather than using only the dimensions of the visible faceplate. The LED module and transformer are included. The supply is 220–240 V AC. The installation instructions also require a separate IP65 terminal block, which is not supplied. Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by qualified personnel with the mains voltage switched off. Plan the box and wiring before completing the wall finish.Choose the white-light setting before installationA switch allows selection of 3000 K, 4000 K or 5000 K before final assembly. This provides a warmer, neutral or cooler white to coordinate with nearby lighting. It is an installation setting, not a brightness control: GES2142 is non-dimmable and operates by switching on and off.The LED is rated at 3 W. The manufacturer gives 60, 66 and 63 lm respectively, with indirect emission and a 110° beam. This is orientation lighting for steps, not a replacement for the main lighting of an entire staircase.Outdoor steps and passage markersThe manufacturer identifies GES2142 as an outdoor step light with IP54 protection. It can mark terrace steps or passages in walls and boundary structures where the required box and wiring are provided. The brown plate remains visible while the body is recessed into the wall.Mostra di più
