CHLOE AR111 GU10 is a white surface-mounted luminaire shaped as a low cylinder 139 mm across and 100 mm tall. The housing is aluminium, and inside it an AR111 reflector sits in a ring that tilts off the housing axis - the manufacturer's photograph shows it set at an angle. Which lamp has to be bought separately The luminaire is sold without a light source. It takes an AR111-format lamp with a GU10 cap, and the manufacturer states a maximum of 20 W for an LED source. That is the main item to add to the order, because without a lamp the fitting does not light. For the same reason the datasheet carries no luminous flux, no colour temperature, no beam angle and no colour rendering figure: all of those arrive with the lamp you choose. AR111 lamps run from a narrow beam of a dozen degrees to a wide flood, so the source decides whether the fitting picks out a picture or lights half a room. Mounting and dimensions The luminaire fixes straight to the ceiling - no cut-out and no void above the slab are needed, which matters in a room with a concrete ceiling or none suspended. The cylinder projects 10 cm below the ceiling, so that is the vertical clearance to leave under it. The fitting is class II, so no protective earth conductor is required for the connection. It weighs 0.53 kg packed and runs on 230 V mains. Where it can hang An IP20 rating and the manufacturer's indoor-use marking rule out a bathroom splash zone, a terrace or an unheated garage open to rain. The operating range is given as -20 to +40 degrees C, so a cold utility room is no obstacle. The manufacturer gives a 2-year warranty and rates the fitting itself at 17 000 h.
