The Steinel RS PRO 5100 SC 5C is a sealed linear LED luminaire with a built-in high-frequency motion sensor. It has a grey plastic housing, a structured diffuser, IP65 ingress protection and IK07 impact resistance. The 5C version has five-core through-wiring, so several luminaires can be chained along one supply line. Size and installation The body measures 1370 × 87 × 58 mm; with the connectors at both ends the technical drawing gives 1410 mm. It is surface-mounted on the ceiling or wall on sliding snap-in brackets, and on a wall it may only be installed horizontally. Steinel designed it for damp and dusty rooms, including rooms with conductive dust. Outdoors it is only of limited use, because the sensor reacts to the slightest movement. Connection is a job for an electrician: the cable has five cores (L1, L2, L3, N, PE), the light is fed from phase L1, and the adapter supplied lets you move it to another phase. The through-wiring carries up to 3 × 16 A. Light and sensor Drawing 31 W, the luminaire gives 4250 lm at 4000 K, a neutral white — enough to serve as the main light of a room. It is listed for garages and workshops, where IP65 and IK07 guard it against damp and knocks. The LED module and driver are built in, so at the end of the light source's life the whole luminaire is replaced; Steinel states an L70B50 life of 60,000 hours. The 5.8 GHz HF sensor covers 360°: ceiling-mounted it detects movement over a diameter of 1 to 10 m, wall-mounted up to 2.5 m. It also detects through doors, glass and thin partitions, which is why slot-in shrouds are included to cut the reach in four directions. Settings and control Unconfigured, it runs on factory settings. The on-time (5 s – 60 min), twilight threshold (2–2000 lx) and the main and basic light levels are set in the STEINEL Connect app over Bluetooth. The app also groups luminaires and enables the neighbouring-group function and a presence mode that keeps the light on during small hand movements. Do not connect it to an external dimmer — that damages the electronics. PB2 and PB4 radio push-buttons are sold separately. On a 186–260 V DC supply the luminaire runs at full output, so it can be connected to a central emergency-lighting battery system. It has no emergency module of its own.Mostra di più
