s.luce Atom LED Pendant Light 50 cm, Black Chrome, Dimmable

Name: s.luce Atom LED Pendant Light 50 cm, Black Chrome, Dimmable
Brand: s.luce

The s.luce Atom in black chrome is a pendant light with an open, spherical metal structure. Intersecting rings and small LED light sources remain exposed rather than disappearing behind a solid shade. This version measures 50 cm in diameter and is one individual pendant, not the multi-pendant arrangements shown in some photographs of the range.Allowing room for a 50 cm sphereThe body measures 50 cm in height, width and length. The manufacturer's catalogue specifies a suspension height of 250 cm for this size. Before choosing its position, compare the sphere's diameter with your table width and the space beneath it with your ceiling height. The height of the body alone is not the overall height of the suspended fitting. The manufacturer identifies dining tables, living areas and open stairwells as possible locations. In a stairwell, position the sphere outside the space people need to pass through. Restaurants and hotel entrance areas are also named uses for the range, rather than applications inferred solely from staged room photographs.Warm white light with replaceable LEDsThe fitting includes 42 LED festoon lamps rated at 0.3 W each. The manufacturer specifies a colour temperature of 3000 K and a luminous flux of 1134 lm. This is warm white light. The open framework leaves the separate points of light visible, without a continuous opal shade covering them. The LED lamps are replaceable, so this pendant should not be confused with a fitting containing a non-replaceable LED module. Brightness can be adjusted using a compatible leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer. Check that control method when choosing a dimmer rather than assuming that any device marked for LED use will suit it.Black chrome and a geometric outlineBlack chrome combines dark surfaces with metallic reflections; the name does not offer a choice between two separate finishes. The intersecting metal rings give the pendant a distinctly modern form that remains visible when switched off. Photographs of grouped installations illustrate the range, not the number of pendants supplied in this item.Show more
