VERSINA wall light with shade and LED reading light, white/chrome, E27 max. 15 W + LED 3 W 3000 K

Name: VERSINA wall light with shade and LED reading light, white/chrome, E27 max. 15 W + LED 3 W 3000 K
Brand: Rendl light studio

VERSINA is a wall light with two independent light sources: a white textile drum shade and a small LED reading light on a flexible chrome arm. Both come out of a round chrome wall plate carrying two rocker switches – each one controls one of the lights. Dimensions and wall space The wall plate is 12 cm across, the shade 16 cm in diameter and 17 cm tall, and the whole light measures 62 cm from the top of the shade to the tip of the reading light. It projects 21 cm from the wall – compare that with the space above a bedside table or beside the headboard. The fitting weighs 1 kg and is hard-wired to a 230 V circuit; the manufacturer recommends installation by an electrician and careful handling of the shade. Two lights for two jobs Under the shade is an E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 15 W. The bulb is not included – the manufacturer recommends an E27 LED bulb for this fitting. The shade diffuses the light around the lamp, so it lights the wall and the immediate surroundings. The reading light on the flexible arm has integrated 3 W LEDs and works straight out of the box, with no light source to buy. It gives 180 lm in a narrow 25° beam – a focused pool of light on a book rather than room lighting. At 3000 K the light is warm white, and Ra 80 is enough for reading. The manufacturer states an LED lifetime of 50,000 hours; the source in the reading light cannot be replaced like a bulb. The arm is bent by hand, so the beam goes where the page is. Where it fits With its separate reading light the fitting works beside a bed in the bedroom or a child's room, next to an armchair in the living room and in hotel rooms – one person can read by the narrow beam while the other sleeps with the shade switched off. The textile shade and chrome combine a classic form with a modern detail.Show more
