Name: NORLYS Nora 2470CG Cement Grey Outdoor Wall Light RAL 7033, LED 15.3 W 3000 K DALI2, Up and Down Light
Brand: NORLYS

Nora 2470CG is a flat, square NORLYS outdoor wall light in cast aluminium, powder-coated in cement grey RAL 7033. Light leaves through two windows of clear safety glass in the top and bottom faces of the housing, so the fitting throws light up and down the wall at the same time. Size and installation The housing is 13 × 13 cm, projects 5 cm from the wall and weighs 0.85 kg. It fixes through two ø5 mm holes at 63 × 112 mm centres – worth comparing with the point where the cable leaves the facade. IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so it can hang with no canopy, and IK09 indicates high impact resistance. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm², further fittings are looped on with up to 5 × 1.5 mm², and the gland accepts round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. The five terminals hold live, neutral, earth and the two DALI control wires. The manufacturer allows 46 fittings per circuit breaker at B10A, 74 at B16A and C10A and 119 at C16A – a number to plan around for a long row along a wall. It is a class I luminaire, so it must be connected to earth. The light it gives Two LED modules draw 15.3 W together and the fitting delivers 1103 lm at 3000 K, warm white, with CRI 80. Half the output (ULOR 50%) goes up and half down, wide in both directions, so the light draws two patches on the wall – above and below the housing. Clear glass does not soften the light the way the satin Nora versions do, and the modules are visible through it. Energy class C at 72.1 lm/W. The manufacturer states flicker of Pst LM ≤ 1 and a stroboscopic effect of SVM ≤ 0.4 – the limits EU ecodesign rules set for mains-powered light sources. Control and servicing The driver is built in and works on DALI2: brightness is set from a DALI controller, not an ordinary phase dimmer. The LED modules and driver are replaced by a professional service, and the manufacturer offers service kit ZN2470XX0009 for this fitting. Module life is over 102,000 h (L80) and driver life 100,000 h. The manufacturer intends it for lighting walls, facades and architectural details.Show more
