Lillehammer DC1581AL Silver Outdoor Wall Sconce by NORLYS

Name: Lillehammer DC1581AL Silver Outdoor Wall Sconce by NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

NORLYS Lillehammer DC1581AL is a silver outdoor wall light with upward and downward light outlets. Its rectangular body is made from powder-coated aluminium in the Aluminium RAL 9006 finish, with optical safety glass covering the light openings. This is the DC 24 V version: it must not be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply. Two beams for architectural wall lightingTwo LED modules use a total of 7.2 W and produce a 60° beam upwards and downwards. The 3000 K colour temperature gives warm white light. The fitting is intended principally for illuminating wall surfaces and façades rather than serving as the sole light for an entire garden. It can also be considered for architectural lighting on a terrace or balcony wall. The complete luminaire delivers 231 lm. This is different from the 1064 lm quoted for the LED light sources themselves. When planning the effect on a façade, use the luminaire output together with its two-way light distribution; the higher source figure is not the output leaving the assembled wall light.Plan the external power supplyAn external constant-voltage DC 24 V power supply is required. The datasheet identifies the LED module as suitable for dimming, but leaves the external control arrangement to the installation design. That does not imply compatibility with any ordinary mains dimmer. The LED sources form part of the fitting. Replacement must be carried out by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified professional, rather than by the user as with a screw-in bulb.Size, mounting and visual characterThe body measures 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm. Compare these dimensions with the intended wall position and allow for the illuminated surfaces above and below the fitting. Mounting uses two 5 mm holes with 45 × 130 mm spacing. Installation and servicing require appropriate qualifications and must follow the manufacturer's instructions.IP65 protection and IK08 impact resistance are confirmed for this version. Maintaining the seal also depends on routing the cable correctly through the gasket. The silver finish, flat front and absence of decorative arms suit Scandinavian, contemporary and minimalist architecture without imitating a traditional lantern.Show more
