Lumines TEKKNI SELDE recessed LED profile kit, 3 m, black with frosted cover

Name: Lumines TEKKNI SELDE recessed LED profile kit, 3 m, black with frosted cover
Brand: Lumines

Lumines TEKKNI SELDE 38-0231-30 is a recessed LED profile kit with a 3 m black profile and a frosted S14 cover. The aluminium channel has side flanges for installation at a furniture surface. This is the mechanical basis for a linear lighting assembly, not a complete light fitting with its own light source. What the kit suppliesThe package contains one SELDE profile, one S14 cover and four SELDE end caps. The cover is polycarbonate and the end caps are ABS plastic. Black with a frosted cover identifies this particular version; it should not be confused with the silver profile or the clear and milky cover variants. An LED strip and power supply are not among the listed kit contents. Select these separately for the intended lighting scheme. Brightness and light colour depend on the chosen strip rather than the profile itself, so choosing this kit does not determine the electrical or lighting specification of the finished assembly.Dimensions that matter before installationThe overall profile width is 21 mm and its height is 7.2 mm. The lower part is 16 mm wide, while the internal channel measures 14.2 mm across. These dimensions serve different purposes when planning a recess: the width across the flanges is not the width inside the channel. Compare the 3 m section with the intended run before preparing the installation surface. The manufacturer lists installation in a milled recess and double-sided tape as assembly techniques. The power supply is positioned outside the profile. Allow for that separate location when planning the complete system rather than expecting to house it inside the aluminium channel.Furniture lighting and display areasSELDE is intended for cabinets, worktops and display areas. It can form the basis of a lighting line beneath kitchen cabinets or within display furniture. Its simple cross-section and recessed arrangement suit modern, minimalist cabinetry. The black body defines the appearance of the visible edges, not the colour or output of the light produced by the separately chosen LED strip.Show more
