Name: Norlys Skara 2936AL light grey LED bollard light RAL 9006, 7.7 W 3000 K, DALI2, 85 cm
Brand: NORLYS

The Skara 2936AL is an 85 cm bollard made from an extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated in light grey RAL 9006. The body measures 12 × 24 cm in section, and its top extends over one side like a canopy – the LED module shines downwards from beneath it through a clear PMMA lens. How it spreads the light The Ledil SCL lens produces an IESNA type II/III distribution: light falls along the path or driveway in front of the bollard rather than evenly all round, so the fitting is set up facing the surface it lights. The manufacturer states a ULOR of 1.68% and a BUG rating of B1-U1-G1, so very little light escapes towards the sky. The fitting delivers 699 lm at 7.7 W – roughly what an old 60 W bulb gave, but aimed at the ground. The 3000 K colour temperature is a warm white in which paving, gravel and planting along the path keep their natural colours. DALI2 control The bollard has a built-in DALI-2 driver, so brightness is controlled from a DALI system rather than with a phase-cut dimmer – a DALI controller is needed for dimming. One B10 circuit breaker can serve up to 82 of these fittings and a B16 up to 130, which makes it easier to plan a long run of bollards on a single circuit. Installation and service The bollard is fixed with four bolts through ø7 mm holes on a 64 × 64 mm pattern; the concrete-in anchor (2934) is ordered separately. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow further fittings to be looped through, and the EPDM cable gland takes a round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. Protection class II means no protective earth conductor is required. The body is rated IP65, the optical unit – LED module and lens – IP67, and impact resistance is IK08. The manufacturer rates the module at over 109,000 hours (L90) and the driver at 100,000 hours. The LED module and driver are available as spare parts, replaced by a professional service. The bollard weighs 5.5 kg; its plain rectangular form without ornament suits modern and Scandinavian garden, terrace and driveway architecture.Show more
