The STAVANGER 1243GR is a bollard light with a cylindrical cast-aluminium body, powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016. It stands 95 cm tall and 20 cm across, and a satin PMMA ring runs just below the flat cap — that is where the light leaves the fitting. Norlys directs it downwards, rotationally symmetric all around the body. Size and how it is fixed down At 95 cm the fitting reaches about waist height on an adult, so it lights the surface underneath rather than the surroundings at eye level. The 20 cm diameter and 10,48 kg weight are the figures to compare with the space beside your path or the edge of your driveway. The carton measures 22,5 × 22,5 × 103,5 cm. The base takes three bolts through ø9 mm holes set every 120° on a ø145 mm circle. The foundation itself is an accessory: Norlys lists a ground anchor (1231), a concreting anchor (1230), an adapter for a concrete foundation (1232) and a mounting adapter (3087). None of them is in the box. The supply cable enters through a nylon gland sized for round cable of 8 to 17 mm diameter. The terminals take up to 5×4 mm², or 5×2,5 mm² when looping through, so several bollards can be fed in series from one circuit. Which bulb to buy with it The fitting has an E27 socket and no light source is included. Norlys permits A55 to A60 bulbs only, the classic pear shape: a wider decorative globe or a long candle lamp will not fit under the cap. Lamp power is capped at 9 W in LED form. As a factory option Norlys names the Philips Master LED 806 lm / 8,5 W / 2700 K. That is the reference for the brightness and colour the fitting is built around: 806 lm matches the old 60 W incandescent bulb, and 2700 K gives warm, slightly yellow light. The satin ring spreads it evenly around the full circumference. Where it can stand IP65 means a dust-tight housing that withstands water jets, so the bollard stays outdoors with no cover over it. IK08 is the impact rating and matters along footpaths and in car parks. The fitting is protection class I, so the installation has to provide an earth conductor. The body carries a 25-year anti-corrosion warranty and the luminaire a 5-year warranty.
