Rendl SORANO R13633 black outdoor ceiling light GU10 Ø6 cm IP44

Name: Rendl SORANO R13633 black outdoor ceiling light GU10 Ø6 cm IP44
Brand: Rendl light studio

Rendl SORANO R13633 is a black cylindrical outdoor ceiling fitting for one replaceable GU10 LED lamp. Its narrow body and recessed light opening make a small ceiling point rather than a broad shade. The manufacturer describes the body as carbon fibre and gives plastic as the broader material designation for the variant.Check the space below the ceilingThe fitting measures 6 cm in diameter and 10.3 cm in height. These dimensions let you check its projection beneath a canopy before planning the layout. It is surface-mounted: the cylinder remains below the ceiling rather than being recessed into it. Compare the measurements with the available clearance and the position of the electrical outlets. This outdoor fitting has an IP44 rating, which includes protection against splashing water. Ceiling locations beneath a covered terrace, balcony or gazebo, or above a sheltered entrance, suit its mounting format. IP44 does not mean dust-tight construction or protection during immersion. The rating must still be considered alongside the conditions at the installation point.Choose the light output with the GU10 lampThe socket accepts an LED GU10 lamp rated at no more than 8 W. This is the permitted lamp limit, not the fixed consumption of an integrated LED module. Check colour temperature, luminous flux and beam angle in the specifications of the lamp you choose. Neither the black finish nor the housing dimensions determines those lighting characteristics. The supply is 230 V AC. The manual shows a direct connection to L and N without an external transformer. Dimming is possible with a suitable light source; the chosen lamp must also work with the intended dimmer. Installation must be carried out by a qualified installer with the power disconnected.A restrained cylinder for contemporary layoutsThe plain black body, circular opening and absence of decorative arms support modern, modernist and minimalist schemes. The opening faces downwards, so planning a larger area requires consideration of spacing and the selected lamps' beam angles. The manufacturer also lists hallway and bathroom use. A bathroom installation must meet the electrical requirements for its particular zone.Show more
