Outdoor Ceiling Light Norlys Sandvik 795GB Grey Beige RAL 7006 GU10 IP54

Name: Outdoor Ceiling Light Norlys Sandvik 795GB Grey Beige RAL 7006 GU10 IP54
Brand: NORLYS

Sandvik 795GB is an outdoor ceiling light shaped as a square-section block, with a cast-aluminium body powder-coated in grey beige (RAL 7006). A satin safety-glass diffuser closes it from below, and the light goes downwards only. How big it is and how it is mountedThe body measures 8 × 8 cm at the base and 14 cm in height, so it takes up little room under eaves or a canopy ceiling. It is screwed to the ceiling through two ø4.5 mm holes spaced 68 × 68 mm, and it weighs 0.59 kg.The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and a round-sheathed supply cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter enters through an EPDM gland. The supply can also be looped on to the next fitting with conductors up to 3 × 1.5 mm², which simplifies a row of several lights. The fitting is protection class I, so it must be connected to a protective earth.Which light source and how much lightInside is a single GU10 lampholder for a PAR16 LED lamp of up to 4 W. The lamp is not included and has to be bought separately; the user replaces it. Norlys recommends Osram Parathom or Philips Master LED PAR16 lamps up to 4 W, and gives as an example a lamp of about 250 lm at 2700 K, a warm, slightly yellowish light. The light leaves downwards in a 25° cone and none of it goes above the fitting (ULOR 0%, BUG rating B0-U0-G0), so it lights the ground below rather than the sky or the façade above. Whether it can be dimmed depends on the lamp and dimmer you choose.Where it can be usedIP54 means protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction, so the right place for it is the ceiling of a terrace, a gazebo or a covered entrance. IK08 means it withstands a 5 J impact. Norlys designed it for private grounds and public areas.Show more
