BANAC Luces Exclusivas LE43424 3xE14 Ceiling Spotlight Black
BANAC is a three-light ceiling spotlight on a round 18 cm ceiling plate. Each of the three shades is a bowl 15 cm across, matt black outside and gold-coloured inside; all three sit on ball joints and swivel independently. How much ceiling it needs The ceiling plate is a round disc 18 cm in diameter that stands 2.5 cm off the ceiling and screws straight to it — there is no drop and no suspension cable, so the fitting also works where the ceiling is low. The three bowls reach out beyond the edge of the plate, so allow noticeably more room than 18 cm. A shade is 12 cm tall. Because each one sits on a joint, how far the fitting reaches down depends on how you aim them: turned sideways they take up less height than pointed straight down. Which bulbs fit The fitting has three E14 sockets and takes lamps of up to 5 W in each. Only LED lamps meet that limit — classic E14 bulbs start well above it — so LED is what to buy now and at every later replacement. Bulbs are not included, so you choose the light colour yourself. The fitting carries no electronics of its own: dimming works only if you buy lamps marked dimmable and add a dimmer. Build and where the light goes Plate, arms and shades are metal finished in matt black. The inside of each bowl is gold-coloured, so reflected light picks up a warmer tone than it would from a white interior. The bowls are opaque and send all their light one way, and the joints let you split the three beams — aim them together at one spot or at three different ones.
