Asker 1339AL Light Grey LED Bollard Light with PIR Sensor, 9.7W 4000K, NORLYS

Name: Asker 1339AL Light Grey LED Bollard Light with PIR Sensor, 9.7W 4000K, NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

Asker 1339AL is an 85 cm bollard light shaped like an inverted L: a slim cast-aluminium shaft ends in a horizontal arm, and the light shines from beneath it. The body is powder-coated in light grey (RAL 9006), and a PIR motion sensor is built into the bollard.Motion and dusk sensorThe PIR sensor has a built-in dusk switch and motion hold. It leaves the factory set to maximum range, a 10 lx dusk threshold and a 1-minute on-time – so the bollard only switches on after dark when someone approaches, and goes off one minute after movement stops. The manufacturer offers programming the sensor to other settings. What light it givesThe source is a built-in LED module supplied with the fitting; the whole light draws 9.7 W. 4000 K is a neutral white, and the colour rendering index is Ra 80. The fitting emits 640 lm, spread hemispherically downwards, with none of it going above the horizontal – the path and driveway are lit, the sky and windows above the bollard are not. The manufacturer rates the module for more than 50,000 h.Installation and connectionThe bollard is fixed with four screws through ø8 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm. A cast-in anchor, ground anchor, concrete-foundation adapter or mounting adapter is ordered separately. The terminals take conductors up to 4 × 4 mm², and the gland takes cables from 4 to 13.6 mm in diameter depending on the insert. Fittings are looped through with up to 4 × 2.5 mm², so a row of bollards along a path runs from one supply line. It is protection class I, so an earth conductor is required.Build and useThe cover is clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate, and a silicone gasket and EPDM gland seal the housing. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets. The manufacturer intends the bollard for gardens and private grounds, and it suits a terrace, driveway, park or roadside path. The plain form with no ornament fits a modern, minimalist style.Show more
