Nordlux Tin Maxi Double black outdoor wall light, 2×GU10, IP54

Name: Nordlux Tin Maxi Double black outdoor wall light, 2×GU10, IP54
Brand: Nordlux

Nordlux Tin Maxi Double is a black outdoor wall light with a vertical cylindrical body and upward and downward light outlets. Its metal housing and clear glass form a simple facade fitting without decorative arms or a projecting shade. This is the 21519903 version, with two GU10 sockets and no bulbs included.Choose the light, not just the fittingThe upper and lower light points illuminate the wall above and below the body. That separates the Double version from a single-direction Tin Maxi. When deciding where to install it, consider the wall surface in both directions rather than only the area in front of the fitting. The final beam spread, brightness and colour temperature depend on the GU10 bulbs you choose.Nordlux specifies a maximum bulb wattage of 35 W. This is a bulb limit, not a statement of the assembled light's electricity consumption or brightness. Suitable replaceable GU10 LED bulbs can be used. If you want dimming, choose dimmable bulbs and controls compatible with those bulbs. The fitting itself does not supply a fixed colour temperature or a predetermined light output.Allow for its projection from the wallThe cylindrical body is 19 cm high and 7.6 cm in diameter. Overall projection is 12.5 cm from the wall, so compare that measurement with the space beside a door and any nearby walking route before installation. Its slender tube, short rectangular mounting base and black surface suit modern, minimalist and Scandinavian architectural schemes.Outdoor mounting and electrical requirementsThis IP54 fitting is intended for an exterior wall, including positions by a front entrance or near a carport. A terrace or balcony wall is another appropriate application. It requires a fixed connection to a 230 V supply and a protective earth connection because it is a Class I light. Nordlux does not rate this black version as suitable for seaside locations. For a coastal installation, choose a fitting with explicit manufacturer approval for that environment.Show more
