Gallery Direct Louis gold baroque mirror, 174 × 87 cm

Name: Gallery Direct Louis gold baroque mirror, 174 × 87 cm
Brand: Gallery Direct

Gallery Direct Louis is a large rectangular mirror with a gold baroque frame. The handmade resin and wood frame combines raised foliage, pronounced corner ornaments and smaller decorative details around the glass. Its gold leaf finish picks out the relief, while darker recesses remain visible in the product photographs.Allow space for the whole frameThe overall dimensions are 174 × 87 cm, with a depth of 8.5 cm. These measurements include the frame; they are not the dimensions of the reflective glass alone. The frame is 14 cm wide, so its decorative border forms a substantial part of the outline. Before choosing a position, compare the full dimensions with the available wall area, nearby furniture and the path of any opening doors.Leaning or wall-hung placementThe manufacturer describes Louis as a leaner that can also be wall-hung, with both portrait and landscape orientations supported. The specified fixing type is D-ring. Changing the orientation changes the proportions of the space occupied, rather than the mirror's overall size. Its net weight is 22.6 kg, which is relevant when planning wall support and fixings.Bevelled glass and ornamental detailBevelled glass adds an inner edge to the richly decorated frame. This gold Louis variant suits classic and glamour-led interiors where the ornament, rather than a plain border, is part of the design choice. A portrait arrangement uses the elongated glass in a bedroom or dressing area; for a living room or entrance hall, check the entire frame outline against the intended position.Show more
