LUMINES VEDA LED profile for plasterboard ceilings, black lacquered, 1 m

Name: LUMINES VEDA LED profile for plasterboard ceilings, black lacquered, 1 m
Brand: Lumines

The black lacquered LUMINES VEDA is a profile for building linear lighting between the plasterboard panels of a suspended ceiling. This 1 m length is identified by article 10-0575-10. Two side channels and a curved central section distinguish its cross-section from a profile that carries a single LED strip in the middle.Lighting from both sides of the profileLED strips are mounted on both sides, giving the arrangement symmetrical light emission. The manufacturer's data sheet specifies compatibility with strips up to 12 mm wide. Check that dimension against the selected strip before assembling the system: matching the family name alone does not establish that a strip fits.VEDA works with DOUBLE covers. The producer lists several optical versions for this cover family, including transparent, opal and black. Selecting the covers and strips is part of the lighting design rather than simply choosing a cosmetic accessory. The light colour and output depend on the sources selected, not on the black finish of the profile.A component to plan into the ceilingMounting springs secure the profile between the boards. Areas intended for filling are left unpainted; the documentation explains that this supports adhesion of the filler. Those areas should not be mistaken for an incomplete black finish. The overall cross-section is 152.6 mm wide and 42.3 mm high. Allow for both measurements in the ceiling design without treating the overall width as a stated installation-opening size. The power supply is positioned outside the profile. End caps with a hole, straight connectors and angular connectors are listed within the system. Their selection depends on the intended route and terminations, so the complete configuration should be settled before installation begins.Architectural lighting rather than a hanging fittingThe manufacturer identifies VEDA for main or decorative lighting in residential and industrial construction. Its regular linear form and partially plastered-in installation suit modern, minimalist interiors. This is a ceiling-system component, not a substitute for a small furniture profile beneath a cabinet.Show more
