SONGMICS KCS02NB Kitchen Counter Shelves, Set of 2, Bamboo and Black Metal

Name: SONGMICS KCS02NB Kitchen Counter Shelves, Set of 2, Bamboo and Black Metal
Brand: Vasagle & Songmics

The SONGMICS KCS02NB set contains two freestanding kitchen counter shelves with natural-coloured bamboo tops and black metal frames. They stand on a worktop or inside a cupboard rather than hanging on a wall. The open-sided design adds another storage level above an existing surface. Two sizes for different arrangementsThe larger shelf measures 29.7 cm long, 19.5 cm wide and 15.5 cm high. The smaller one is also 29.7 cm long, but measures 18.5 cm wide and 13.6 cm high. These are two differently sized pieces, not an identical pair. Use them separately, partially nest them, stack them or arrange them in an L-shape to suit the available space. Before choosing a layout, compare the measurements with the depth of your cupboard and the space above your counter. Overall shelf height is not the same as the usable clearance beneath its top. Check the height of mugs, jars or other items intended for the lower level as well, especially when planning a stacked arrangement. Storage for dishes, tea and desk accessoriesOn a kitchen counter or in a cabinet, the shelves divide the available storage into levels for spices, glasses and crockery. The manufacturer also describes using them for a tea station in the living room or small office supplies on a desk. Open sides keep the contents visible rather than providing enclosed storage. Straight black frames give the set an industrial accent, while the pale bamboo surfaces keep its appearance restrained and modern. Load limits and assemblyThe maximum static load is 15 kg per shelf. This is a limit for each individual top, not a blanket load rating for every possible stacked arrangement. The package includes two shelves, an accessory kit and instructions. Assembly is required, and the manufacturer's instructions must be followed when stacking the pieces. SONGMICS advises against prolonged use in damp environments, so this set should not be treated as storage designed for continual exposure to moisture.Show more
