HALMSTAD 210 is a low, square-section bollard luminaire standing 26 cm tall. The body is hot-dip galvanised steel with no paint over it, so the finish is the natural mottled grey of zinc. The head is louvred with horizontal slats, and a milky PMMA diffuser sits behind them. How big it is and how it is installed The fitting measures 26 × 12 × 12 cm, so it throws light from roughly kerb height. It marks the edge of a driveway, a path or a bed rather than lighting a whole walkway — compare those 26 cm with the height of the edging and the planting where it will stand. The base is fixed through three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. The concrete anchor, the ground spike and the concrete-foundation adapter are separate Norlys items and have to be bought as well. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and the gland a round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter — two figures to check against the cable already in the ground. What light it gives and which bulb it needs The fitting has an E27 lampholder and no light source in the box, so you buy the bulb separately. Norlys allows an LED lamp up to 9 W and only in an A55–A60 envelope, the classic teardrop shape; a decorative globe or a long candle lamp will not fit under the louvres. The colour is your choice: 2700 K gives warm, slightly yellow light, 4000 K a neutral white. Light leaves sideways through the louvres and is partly shielded from above, yet 48% of the flux still goes above the horizontal. This is a fitting that also lights upwards, not one that aims the whole beam at the paving. Build and resistance Hot-dip galvanising is applied in a bath, so the coating also reaches the inside of the profile. Norlys gives 25 years of anti-corrosion warranty on that protection and 8 years on the luminaire itself. A silicone gasket seals the diffuser. IP54 means the fitting handles rain and splashing but not a jet from a pressure washer. IK10 is the top impact rating on that scale, which matters right beside a driveway where the bollard can be clipped by a wheel or a mower.
