Artificial Monstera Plant 20 cm
An artificial Monstera in a black grower's pot, 20 cm tall overall. The leaves are textile, cut with the holes and splits typical of a Monstera, set on dark stems. A layer of brown gravel covers the surface of the growing medium in the pot. How big it actually is The stated 20 cm is the height measured with the pot, not the plant on its own. The pot is 10 cm high, so the foliage rises another 10 cm or so above its rim. That is a size for a shelf, a windowsill, a desk or a counter — not for the floor. The manufacturer makes the same plant in a 53 cm version as well, if 20 cm turns out to be too little for the spot you have in mind. What is included and what cachepot to look for You get the plant together with the black grower's pot — the same kind live plants are sold in. The manufacturer states that the product requires a decorative pot: the black one is meant to disappear inside a cachepot rather than stay on show. The measurements to choose that cachepot by are 10 cm in height and 12 cm across at the top rim, narrowing to 8 cm at the base. A cachepot with an internal diameter under 12 cm will not take the pot, and a much deeper one will swallow part of the foliage too. What it is made of and where it can stand The leaves are fabric shaped into Monstera blades, which is where the soft, matt surface comes from instead of the sheen of rigid plastic. The manufacturer intends the plant for indoor use only, domestic and commercial alike: offices, hotels and restaurants. An artificial plant needs neither watering nor light, so it can stand where a living Monstera would not survive — deep inside a room, in a space with no window, or on a shelf nobody reaches regularly.Show more
