ZOOM recessed luminaire DL033-2-01B IP65 Maytoni

Name: ZOOM recessed luminaire DL033-2-01B IP65 Maytoni
Brand: Maytoni

The Maytoni Zoom DL033-2-01B is a black recessed fitting with a square frame and a circular light opening set back into the body. Its aluminium housing measures 8.5 × 8.5 cm and stands 4.5 cm high. Once installed, the square outline remains visible on the ceiling while the GU10 light source sits deeper inside the black housing.A round cut-out beneath a square frameThe visible shape is not the shape of the mounting hole. The manufacturer specifies a round cut-out measuring 7.5 cm in diameter and an installation depth of 10 cm with the light source fitted. That depth is different from the height of the housing itself. For a suspended ceiling, check the space behind the finished surface rather than considering only the shallow frame. The installation drawing shows spring fixings and the GU10 source seated inside the body. Before cutting the ceiling, compare the proposed opening and available depth with the documentation for this exact model. If several fittings are used together, plan the orientation of their square frames as part of the ceiling layout.Choose the light characteristics through GU10There is one GU10 socket. Both the current product card and the installation sheet specify a maximum source power of 10 W. Colour temperature, luminous flux and beam angle depend on the chosen source rather than being fixed characteristics of the frame. Compare those source specifications with the spacing of the fittings and the intended lighting task before making a selection. The manufacturer marks this model as non-dimmable.Placement and appearanceThe IP65 rating allows the fitting to be considered for a bathroom lighting scheme, subject to the installation requirements at the actual location. It does not automatically establish suitability for every zone or mounting arrangement. The black square frame and recessed circular opening suit modern, minimalist interiors. In a living room, kitchen, hallway or dressing room, the fitting can form part of a multi-point ceiling installation. The manufacturer specifies AC 220–240 V operation and a five-year warranty.Show more
