Artificial green wall Sukulent 50×50 cm Green Designers GD 640
The Sukulent artificial green wall from Green Designers, code GD 640, is a premium square mat with 50 cm sides. Larger rosettes sit on a dense ground of small sprigs. The producer specifies three leaf types and sprigs about 5–13 cm long. The panel imitates succulent greenery, but it is not a living plant: it is not watered or trimmed. How many mats to order One piece covers 50 × 50 cm and is 7 cm thick. Green Designers states a product weight of 0.6 kg, without a separate net and gross figure. Four squares cover one square metre. Measure the wall, ceiling or column, multiply the area in square metres by 4 and round up. Add spare pieces for offcuts when an edge does not fall on the 50 cm grid or the mat has to turn a corner. Shade can differ slightly between batches. On a larger surface, set the mats from one delivery together before you cut the edges.Base, cutting and fixing The openwork base is flexible, so the mat can follow a curved surface, not only a flat wall. The producer states that the mesh is about 4 mm thick. The mat can be cut, including an opening for a socket. Green Designers recommends a tacker for premium mats. The tacker is not part of this piece, and the fitting instructions are published separately. If the mat meets a wall, ceiling, floor or skirting board, an extra cover strip is not required. Where the mesh would stay visible, plan a recess or a finishing strip so the edge of the base is hidden.Moisture and placement The GD 640 card marks the mat as waterproof and resistant to moisture. The producer indicates walls, ceilings and columns indoors, regardless of the size and shape of the surface. It does not state UV resistance or facade mounting, so do not treat this mat as confirmed for outdoor use. The visualisation of this pattern shows the foliage on a wall behind a sofa. That is an example of many squares joined together, not evidence that one mat fills a whole wall.Show more
