Wall lamp LAHTI 70 olive green LED 3000K

Name: Wall lamp LAHTI 70 olive green LED 3000K
Brand: Thoro

LAHTI 70 is a wall light shaped as a slim vertical bar 70 cm tall, finished in matt olive green. At the bottom the bar turns into a box-shaped base that fixes to the wall. The light source is an integrated LED module behind an opal diffuser running along the bar. Size and installation The fitting is 70 cm high, 6.5 cm wide and only 4 cm deep, so it occupies a narrow strip of wall – a figure to compare with the free space beside a bed, by an entrance or between furniture. According to the manufacturer's drawing the base is 16 cm high, and the installation sheet shows the wires being connected inside it. The electrical outlet should therefore come out of the wall where the lower part of the light will sit. The LAHTI collection offers the same wall light in 50 and 90 cm lengths as well, in beige, ochre red and olive green, each in a 3000 K or 4000 K version. That makes it possible to combine several bars of different lengths on one wall. How much light, and what kind The LED module draws 13 W and delivers 1690 lm, more than twice the roughly 800 lm of an old 60 W bulb. At that output the light can serve as the main light in a small hallway rather than only as a decorative accent. The opal diffuser spreads the light along the whole length, so the bar does not glare with a single bright point. 3000 K is warm white, and a colour rendering index of CRI 90 means walls, fabrics and skin tones look natural under it. The light source is included, so there is no bulb to buy, but it is built in permanently and is not replaced like an ordinary bulb. Where it fits The manufacturer intends LAHTI as additional lighting for living rooms, bedrooms and offices; the narrow bar also suits kitchens, dining rooms and hallways. The form is modern: a smooth geometric body without ornament, its only detail being the fold at the base. Against a brick or pale wall the olive green reads as a clear accent of colour. The light is made in Poland and Thoro covers it with a five-year warranty, which matters on a fitting whose LED module is integrated into the housing.Show more
