Sol 4049AL LED Outdoor Ceiling Light Ø20 cm, 19.3 W, 3000 K, DALI-2, Silver, NORLYS

Name: Sol 4049AL LED Outdoor Ceiling Light Ø20 cm, 19.3 W, 3000 K, DALI-2, Silver, NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

Sol 4049AL is a round NORLYS outdoor ceiling light shaped as a low cylinder, 20 cm in diameter and 11 cm high. The extruded aluminium profile body is powder-coated in aluminium colour (RAL 9006), and its underside is closed by a satin safety-glass diffuser sealed with a silicone gasket. The LED module and driver are built in, so there is no bulb to buy. Size and installation The fixture projects 11 cm from the ceiling – a figure to compare with the clearance under your eaves, terrace roof or gazebo ceiling. It is screwed on through two ø5 mm holes spaced 100 mm apart and weighs 2.65 kg. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow looping power on to the next fixture with up to 1.5 mm², so several lights under one roof can run from a single line. The EPDM cable gland accepts round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. This is a protection class I fixture, so it needs an earth conductor. IP65 allows outdoor installation without extra cover, IK06 means resistance to a 1 J impact, and the manufacturer gives an operating range of -20 to +45 °C. How much light, and what kind The Philips Fortimo module produces 2200 lm, and 1618 lm leaves the satin diffuser at a 19.3 W draw. That is roughly what two traditional 60 W bulbs gave – main lighting, not a lamp that merely marks the door. 3000 K is warm white, and CRI 80 is the colour rendering typical of outdoor lighting. Light falls symmetrically downwards, with only 0.3% of the flux going up (ULOR). What gets lit is the floor under the fixture, not the ceiling or the sky above the house. DALI-2 control and service The built-in DALI-2 driver lets the fixture be switched and dimmed digitally from a DALI control installation – dimming requires a controller for that system. The fixture can also run on a DC supply of 176–280 V. The manufacturer rates the module at L70 above 50,000 hours. The LED module and driver are not user-replaceable, but a qualified service can replace them using the LED service set ZS4043ZX0009 and the driver service set ZS4047ZX0009.Show more
