NORLYS Moss DC6979GR LED garden spotlight, graphite RAL 7016, 24 V DC

Name: NORLYS Moss DC6979GR LED garden spotlight, graphite RAL 7016, 24 V DC
Brand: NORLYS

The NORLYS Moss DC6979GR is a garden spotlight with a ground spike and an adjustable lighting direction. Its powder-coated cast-aluminium housing has a graphite RAL 7016 finish, with clear safety glass protecting the light source. A cylindrical head and a plain supporting bracket give it a modern, minimalist appearance.A focused beam for a selected garden featureThe symmetrical 24° beam concentrates light on a particular target rather than spreading it evenly across a large area. NORLYS specifies gardens, private grounds and architectural lighting concepts as its intended uses. The direction can be adjusted in the vertical plane as well, allowing a spotlight positioned in the ground to illuminate planting or part of a facade. Choose its position in relation to the feature you want to highlight. The LED produces warm-white light at 3000 K. The complete luminaire delivers 757 lm; the separate figure of 915 lm describes the light source itself. When comparing finished spotlights, use the luminaire output rather than treating these two figures as interchangeable. This is not a fitting for an ordinary replaceable bulb: the LED module can be replaced only by a professional service.Plan the separate 24 V DC power supplyThe spotlight must not be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply. It needs an external constant-voltage 24 V DC power supply, purchased separately. The complete luminaire consumes 6.8 W, while the light-source power is 6 W. Its LED module supports dimming, but the control arrangement and suitable power supply must be specified as part of the installation design. NORLYS requires selection of the supply and electrical installation to be carried out by a suitably qualified person.Ground mounting and cable routingA ground spike and a three-metre H05RN-F 2x1 cable are provided. Other accessories, including an appropriately selected connection box, are bought separately. The datasheet gives the body dimensions as 8.5 × 6.5 × 10.8 cm. The spotlight has IP65 protection; this does not replace proper protection of the electrical connections. Follow the installation instructions and consider the cable route alongside the position of the spotlight and its intended target.Show more
