Sol 4048AL Silver LED Outdoor Ceiling Light by NORLYS

Name: Sol 4048AL Silver LED Outdoor Ceiling Light by NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

NORLYS Sol 4048AL is an outdoor LED ceiling light in an aluminium-coloured RAL 9006 finish. Its shallow cylindrical body surrounds a circular light opening, closed underneath by transparent safety glass. The aluminium parts are powder-coated: the finish is painted rather than bare metal.Allow space on the ceilingThe fitting measures 20 cm across and 11 cm high. Compare both measurements with the available ceiling area and the space below before deciding where to install it. Sol mounts directly against the ceiling, without the hanging cable or adjustable drop associated with a pendant light. Its IP65 rating and ceiling-mounted construction support use on a covered terrace or balcony, in a gazebo, or beneath a canopy over an entrance. A suitable mounting surface is needed above the area being illuminated. This is not a garden bollard for installation in the ground or a wall light for lighting a facade. The plain cylindrical form suits modern and minimalist architecture.Neutral white light directed downwardsThe included LED module produces 4000 K light. The fitting directs light symmetrically downwards and delivers 2227 lm while consuming 19.1 W. The module itself produces 2400 lm. When comparing brightness, distinguish the source's output from the light leaving the complete luminaire. This version supports DALI2 control. Using that function requires a suitable control installation; the designation does not mean app control or compatibility with every wall dimmer.Connection and servicingThe LED module and power supply are included. A qualified professional should install the light and connect it to a 220–240 V supply. Protection class I requires an earth connection. The instructions specify two mounting holes spaced 100 mm apart and a round cable with a diameter of 7–10.5 mm. Both the LED module and control gear are replaceable by a professional service, rather than being an ordinary bulb that the user unscrews from a socket.Show more
