NORLYS Skara 2935BL black LED bollard light 85 cm 7.7 W 3000 K

Name: NORLYS Skara 2935BL black LED bollard light 85 cm 7.7 W 3000 K
Brand: NORLYS

Skara 2935BL is an 85 cm LED garden bollard made from an extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated black (RAL 9005). The plain rectangular body ends in a head that juts out to one side like a canopy and throws the light down onto the path or driveway beside it. It connects straight to 230 V mains, as the LED module and driver are built in. Size and installation The bollard is 12 cm wide and, at its deepest point including the projecting head, 24 cm. At 85 cm high with the light aimed downwards, it lights the ground rather than the faces of people walking past. The base has four ø7 mm holes on a 64 × 64 mm pattern, and fixing follows the supplied installation manual. For setting it in the ground Norlys offers the 2934ZX0009 concrete anchor, sold separately. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next luminaire in a run; the gland accepts round-sheathed cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. What light it gives The bollard draws 7.7 W and delivers 699 lm – slightly less than an old 60 W bulb, but all of it aimed downwards: only 1.68% of the output goes above the horizontal (BUG rating B1-U1-G1), so it does not light up the night sky or the neighbours' windows. 3000 K is warm white, and CRI 80 is the usual level for general outdoor lighting. The Ledil SCL lens spreads the light in an IESNA type II/III distribution – a wide, elongated pool along the path rather than a circle at the foot of the bollard. It dims with a trailing-edge (TE) phase dimmer. It suits garden paths, terraces and driveways, as well as the grounds of hotels and restaurants. Build and servicing The housing is rated IP65 – dust-tight and protected against water jets – and IK08, meaning it withstands an impact of 5 joules. It is protection class II, so no earth conductor is needed. The LED module is not user-replaceable, but a failure does not mean replacing the whole bollard: the module (4699102107), the driver (46999697) and a service kit (ZS2935zx0009) are available as spare parts for fitting by a service technician. Norlys states an L90 lifetime above 109,000 hours – the point at which the module still gives at least 90% of its initial output.Show more
