SLV THEO UP/DOWN 229535 Outdoor Wall Light, Anthracite, 2 × GU10

Name: SLV THEO UP/DOWN 229535 Outdoor Wall Light, Anthracite, 2 × GU10
Brand: SLV

SLV THEO UP/DOWN 229535 is an anthracite outdoor wall light with separate openings at the top and bottom of its slim rectangular body. Its housing is aluminium, with glass covers over the light sources. This version takes two replaceable GU10 lamps rather than an integrated LED module.Choose both lamps before installationTwo QPAR51 light bulbs with GU10 caps are required and are purchased separately. The maximum is 35 W per bulb. The 2 × 35 W rating describes the permitted bulb load, not fixed energy consumption: actual consumption depends on the bulbs fitted. Check the specifications of both sources when putting together your lighting order. The outlets send light upwards and downwards along the wall. Colour temperature, brightness and beam width depend on the compatible bulbs you select. The warm appearance in the photographs is therefore an example, not a built-in colour temperature for this fitting. Disconnect the supply and allow the light to cool before changing a bulb.A narrow body for wall-mounted lightingThe fitting is 22.5 cm high, 7 cm wide and 7.5 cm deep. Compare these measurements with the available space beside a door, window or on a pillar. Its undecorated rectangular outline and opposing light outlets suit a modern, minimalist façade scheme. A terrace or balcony wall is another possible location.SLV specifies outdoor use and an IP44 protection rating. The luminaire is designed exclusively for surface mounting on a wall, fixed to an even substrate. The manual requires at least 0.2 m between a light source and the illuminated surface. Allow for the areas reached by both beams when choosing its position.Electrical connection and careTHEO connects to a 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz supply. As a class I fitting, it requires a protective conductor; installation must be carried out by an approved electrician. Do not add your own silicone seal to the luminaire. After disconnecting the power and allowing it to cool, wipe the exterior with a cloth slightly dampened with water. Do not use a pressure washer, and keep ventilation and drainage openings clear. Operate the fitting only with its protective glass intact.Show more
