Ideal Lux XENO AP1 129471 grey adjustable outdoor wall light GU10 IP44

Name: Ideal Lux XENO AP1 129471 grey adjustable outdoor wall light GU10 IP44
Brand: Ideallux

Ideal Lux XENO AP1 129471 is a compact grey outdoor wall light with an adjustable cylindrical head. A round mounting base and short body give it a clearly defined outline. Matt powder-coated aluminium is paired with clear tempered glass in front of the light source. This version takes one GU10 bulb, which is not included.Direct the light where it is neededThe movable head lets you change the direction of the light without relocating the wall base. Consider XENO beside an entrance, on a façade, on a balcony or terrace wall, or on a masonry boundary wall or gazebo with a suitable mounting surface. It provides a local light point for a chosen part of the surroundings, rather than a promise of even illumination across an entire garden. The bulb also determines the result. Choosing a GU10 source means choosing its colour temperature, lumen output and beam angle; the fitting itself does not have a fixed light colour or brightness. The manufacturer specifies a maximum bulb wattage of 28 W and lists the fitting as non-dimmable. Compatibility with a dimmer should therefore not be assumed.Allow for the projection from the wallThe stated dimensions are 9 cm in length and 11 cm in height, with a depth ranging from 11.5 to 13.5 cm. That projection matters when placing the light near a doorway, corner or passage. Adjusting the head is not the same as adjusting the mounting height of the whole fitting. Check the full outline against the available space before installation, including the clearance with doors open.XENO is designed for wall mounting and a 220–240 V AC supply. It has an IP44 rating and Class I electrical protection, so a protective earth connection is required. The manufacturer calls for installation by a qualified electrician, with fixings selected to suit the supporting material.A short cylinder in a grey finishThe visible joint, circular base and unornamented body suit modern, modernist and minimalist architecture. Code 129471 identifies the grey finish, not the black version shown in some collection photographs. The comparison photograph with several colours illustrates the XENO family; it does not indicate a set of three lights supplied together.Show more
